We know that choosing a preschool can sometimes be a trying process, but we hope that here at Tulane Montessori Children's House, we can make the process as painless as possible. Because of the high demand we usually encounter, we encourage parents to apply for admission up to two years prior to their desired entry date. Additionally, we only accept students in the Fall semester for a full year program. Our admissions policy is outlined below:
STEP 1: CALL US TO SET UP A TOUR
We run individual tours every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 AM for those interested in a morning spot, and at 1:30 PM for those interested in an afternoon spot. Because of the individual nature of our tours, they do fill up as the year progress, so we do encourage you to call and set up your tour early.
STEP 2: SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FORM AND FEE
Fill out the application that you will receive at the tour, along with a non-refundable $50 application fee. Applications are accepted year round, but we do not begin our enrollment process for any given year until the October of the previous year.
STEP 3: CHECK IN
In the year prior to your desired entry date, check in throughout the year to let us know you are still interested in the spot you originally applied for.
STEP 4: ACCEPTANCE AND ENROLLMENT
If the school and your child are a good fit (this is a decision made by you) and space is available, we will provide you with an acceptance letter and enrollment forms around the January prior to your desired Fall entry date.
